After surviving most encounters, the active player will draw a number of loot cards from the treasure deck. These cards include useful gear such as healing potions and lots of raw materials such as ale, parchment, and gemstones, that can be crafted into useful gear. There is also gold that may be used at Vari's Tent to summon magical gear or draw from the artifact deck. (Read more about Vari's Tent)

The Artifacts are powerful magic items, and mixed in among them are the four rings of power. If all four rings are retrieved, you win the game!

Note: If any hero becomes petrified and can not be cured before the end of the encounter, their treasure and artifacts do not also turn to stone. Other heroes may take their loot at the end of the encounter.

Note: If the active hero dies before the end of the encounter and cannot be revived immediately, the treasure cards may be drawn by the next surviving hero in line clockwise.
